These are Andy McKenzie’s suggestions for increasing your workout.

The first step is to learn the correct form. The correct form can make a world of difference in lifting heavy weights. The proper workspace should be available. Your core should be tight, and your shoulder blades should be pinched together. Once you master this, you are ready to move on with the next part of your bench pressing.

Remember that they are not there to make you look bad, but to boost your strength. This is a great way to increase your strength and do more reps. Use these tips for bench pressing to increase your strength.

Third, be careful not to overdo it. Exercising too fast can lead to frustration, overtraining your muscles, and even plateaus. Your joints will be overworked if you don’t allow yourself enough time to rest between sets. You need to take proper rest, vary your rep range and keep it varied. Doing this will ensure that you get the most out of your bench pressing sessions.

A straight posture is the best tip to improve your bench press. The best way to avoid injury is to keep your elbows at 90°. Also, keep your elbows straight up. This will maximize your leverage, and transfer power to bar. It is important to not bounce the bar from your chest, or touch it. You should change the weight if you do this.
